The first Cher concert that I attended was the London concert incher 'Fame' in London. Cher's Australian tour now includes Wollongong's WIN Entertainment Center

It’s been revealed international mega star Cher has added Wollongong to her national tour later this year.

The Turn Back Time songstress is touring Australia for the first time in 13 years and will stop by the WIN Entertainment Centre on October 16. 

Other cities on the schedule include Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Newcastle.

Pre-sale tickets for the Illawarra show will go on sale Tuesday July 24 at 12pm, general public tickets Thursday July 26 at 1pm. All other dates are currently available through Ticketmaster.

Expanding on her well-received appearance at this year’s Mardi Gras, fans can expect to be dazzled by Cher’s renowned lavish and flamboyant costumes and elaborate stage production.

While revelling in more than 90-minute performance of hits and classics such as: Believe, Strong Enough, I Found Someone,Gypsys, Tramps & Thieves, as well as going all the way back to where it began, with I Got You Babe.

Cher: I Have Always Had The Luxury Of Picking My Men

Cher says she feels like the world's oldest teenager at age 69.

She is somehow beaten the age barrier with a mixture of plastic surgery, she freely admits, and an outright refusal to accept the years.

 

The woman who is exalted in the title Goddess of Pop last month became the face of fashion house Marc Jacobs and is back on the silver screen with the documentary film The Wrecking Crew.

"I never afraid age," she says.

"That's why it's so important to me that is on the Board of the City of West Hollywood and why this election is so vital in June. I urge everyone to vote for Heidi," she says.

Cher Cancels Upcoming Dressed To Kill Tour Dates Including Dec 6 Show At Verizon Center

Doctors advise extra rest to ensure full recovery

With great regret, Cher has announced the cancellation of all remaining dates of Dressed to Kill (D2K) tour.

From March, several times awarded superstar completed 49 concert tickets to unanimous rave reviews before taking a break scheduled in July.



Shortly before returning to the road in September, was shot down by an infection that affected his kidney function.
