Cher Postpones Tour Dates, Sick With Acute Viral Infection

Cher had to postpone some of his concerts after going down with a viral infection.

Cher was forced to postpone the second leg of his "Dressed to Kill" tour after coming down with what doctors call "acute viral infection." A statement announcing the rescheduled concert dates, was posted on the website of the Center Times Union; Cher was supposed to conduct their on Thursday 11 September.

"Cher was diagnosed over the weekend with what doctors call" acute viral infection 'and had to be on complete bed rest for several days, "according to a statement.



The show revolves opening in Albany, New York, scheduled for September 11 has been postponed to October 6.

According to the Los Angeles Times, a show for September 13 in Manchester, NH, has also been postponed to October 7, 68-year-old began the first leg of the tour in March. CNN reported that Cher has exhausted 49 shows for the first leg, which ended in July. The shows raked in nearly $ 55 million from 610,000 fans.

Cher still have another 30 shows throughout the United States. She hopes to return to the stage Monday, September 15 show in Allentown, PA.

"Last night was fun," she wrote in April. "Actually ALL NIGHTS been fun Am Resting, 3 shows in 4 days is harder than I remember Having strips on 6 toes."
